I don't even play DE. All my armies are Imperial. Although I'm planning a skink 40k thing. Toughness 2... Toughness 2 in the 40k universe. It has to be done. That is horrible... thats like giving a common garden lizard super sized hands and a gun...

Just because they'll drop like flies it doesn't mean it won't be fun to watch. Plus to make up for this (major) downfall their psychic powers and elite choices will have to be rock solid..

Give them psychic powers that make Ahriman cry...

Maybe they'll be able to alter reality itself and bring the dead back to life (meaning you'll need loads of zombie models to raise the dead). Then lets say in game terms that if a character or squad dies somewhere (have to be careful with the wording of that) on the table, then you place a marker there, and a nearby Narthad psyker could raise zombies from those portals and then you'll get free zombie squads. Fearless, but ultra slow, just like plague zombie apocalypse chaos pdf. Food for thought..

I was watching 28 days later yesterday. Man: how scary are the zombies in that? I can handle normal horror flick zombies, who are a bit slow, but those psycho, superfast biters? No way! Give me my Kustom force field anyday.

BUt what good was the fortress with all the infected brain-eating zombies sprinting at you faster than Linford Christie?

The minefield and heavy MG's... I laughed at the bit where the zombie bounces across the minefield and spattered the dude on the wall...

Those zombies are scary.
Anyway I almost managed to convince FKM to join the forum, as he wants to do DE. But he's unwilling to join before he buys DE. And nobody ever has any money. Maybe we should drag people screaming and kicking, as slaves, into Commorragh and distill their fear and their souls into a fine wine, whilst flensing the flesh from their bones. Too much?

But shall we use psychic powers, hop on a venom (all of us could fit on a Venom) and burst into realspace and raid some random world.
Does the IGMB 'count as' a world?

Well, yeah. They're all either caught on the trailing chains or have been strapped to the hull.
That, and we also call in a few dozen empty Raiders and pack 'em in like sardines.

Actually that's a good point.
Luckily I have the Von Cheminhaler Miniaturiser Ray Gun, which will shrink the captives so they're only one foot tall. Although I don't know if we can reverse the process.
