They're the Word Bearer shoulder pads, available from GW mail order. Now you've got me thinking, though. What with metal disappearing, will the shoulder-pads be resin-metal hybrid? And more expensive?
If you look the vehicles also have FW resin doors as well. And Chaos tracks on the land raider.

Fancy, eh? I think the shoulder pads will become just resin... after they sell out of their stocks of course....

Yeah, neither of those Raiders are their original colors anymore, now they're in the Jackal's black and bronze.

Cheers, matey; maybe one day I'll get my finger out and actually put some more paint on them.. @ Black Jackal - we await seeing the kabal of the Black Jackal in the flesh! Also today I got my first flying saucer through the post. This is it without the saurus lizardman head (which I've just glued on). It's a beautiful model : very weighty, solid white metal, and a snip at the bargain price of £7 (although that's a discounted price). Anyway I'm planning to buy at least another 7 or 8 of them.. Need money!!

It's just those crab-like claw arms. At least they give me an excuse to say it's good in close combat.

Maybe just rending to keep the points cost down. Ten superfast flying carnifex crushing claws would probably be very expensive in points.

Thanks, shostak.
Yeah, the legs got chopped into 3 segments, drilled and reposed. Green stuff still needs to fill up the gaps.
