It will be either sisters or necrons, but people are saying that sisters will be white dwarf pdf'd a la Blood Angels 2008. Personally I want Tau just to see if the Demiurg are made into a new playable race.

It really should be either Sisters, Tau or Craftworld Eldar, but of course it's going to be yet another MEQ side...

I remember somebody said over on the IGMB about a pattern... Marine codex of some sort, not marine codex, marine codex ect ect... I think that is rather accurate... But based on that pattern it should be a marine codex... I'm looking at you Dark Angels...

Honestly, Dark Angels are better played as vanilla Marines or Grey Knights now, since there's nothing "Dark Angels only" that those two codexes can't do better (Vanilla can Ravenwing better, while Grey Knights can now Deathwing better, and if you've been playing anything else as Dark Angels for the past three years it's time you updated to 5th edition).

Exactly. As one of the original Legions they should be vastly superior with their 'specific' things...

Of course, by that logic the Imperial Fists, Salamanders, White Scars and Crimson Fists (also Rainbow Warriors, but who plays them?) should also get their own codexes, but all four of them play exactly like vanilla Marines with an HQ change (if that. Imperial and Crimson Fists aren't changed in the slightest).

Dark Angels have the largest collection of terminator armour and a specialised biker and landspeeder company. That's the only real difference, but because the DA have such a long and entertaining, not to mention half secret history, they will always get their own book.
On the fluff alone GW can milk you for the price of a codex. Special characters are where it's all at these days, and beleive you me, if the BA, vanilla and templars get their own codex, the DA will get theirs. There are so many special characters you can add into a DA codex that it just beggars belief. We have Asrael, Belial, Sammael riding on a donkey, Veteran scout sergeant what's-his-face, potentially even Cypher. Imagine if they put Cypher in a DA list, the carnage that will ensue...

I forgot Asmodai, Interrogator Chaplain, and he's just a one man army, he is. Could probably take out ten Abaddons at once, single-handed. Or.... not.
But in all honesty they'll find a way to revamp the DA, mark my words. They'll probably have some kind of over-zealous special rule that allows them to ignore everything morale related and then just watch everyone switch back to Dark Angels. Even Space Wolf players.

Dark green is a colour I'd prefer to leave for guard, rather than marines. Although my current guard will be yellow and I'm thinking vehicles brown/ yellow stripes.
