Ten of my best and most talented young concubines that it will be irrelevant to Warhammer 40K (aside from being used as justification for another price increase)!

It seems we're betting for the same thing. Heroquest is a fantasy board game. I'm thinking it'll be more like Advanced Heroquest, with board sections, rather than the fixed board older one, which GW went into partnership with MB games to produce.

Well the only other 40k classic boxed sets were Space Crusade and Advanced Space Crusade. The latter was cool - marine scouts VS tyranid warriors in the bowels of organic tyranid space ships. I've got some of the marine scouts, which I bought from ebay years ago. They were plastic and had mini mohawks. Edit : cool link keyansark.blogspot.com/2009/11/advanced-space-crusade-tiranidos-y.html

Now I'm wondering if the 6th edition 40k rumours might mean that the 'mystery box' is in fact the latest starter boxed set...
If so, they won't be limited edition. The rumours also point to Black Legion VS Dark Angels as the seperate starter sets. So it'll be a 3+ game for all the kids in future.

I bet my hand that it's going to be a Necromunda revamp.

That would be great - plastic guardsmen, anyone?
