Well, instead of creating a thread just to tell us you made the cricket team or discovered a new key on your computer, you can post about it on this thread (although if you have some big news that is Random, feel free to start a new thread of your own, that would be much better than having this thread actually on a subject for more than a day or two). Wow! The Random thread! Anyway, today I was reminiscing about the 6 months of Kung fu that I did about 12 years ago.. It was in this prestigious school, and it's run by grand-master Kan himself.. Just wish I had time and money - it takes over 20 years to progress to wooden dummy and butterfly knife training.... www.victorkanvt.com/ |

I took kung fu for like 4 years and only got to orange belt......Meh, kung fu just wasnt my thing

It's better if it takes you longer to progress. In the lessons I was mentioning it takes about 15-20 years to make black sash. The guy's a grand master and the best pupil of Yip Man (same guy who taught Bruce Lee classin Wing Chun) so you expect him to maintain a good standard of assessment of his pupils. That and he can milk more money out of you..  But having done about a year or two of longsword fighting Western Martial Arts I prefer the Eastern system. WMA has very little structure beyond basic stances, parries, attacks and grapples. It's still a great laugh whacking people with wooden wasters.. |

Me sifu (SP?) was a student of like 20 different martial artists (most of which were from exotic countries). He taught each belt a certain style to master before receiving the next belt Anyhow I'm back from lurking on other sites and wll be on moar often (and post moar) |

I had a 40k game this morning....730 pts.....my renegade IG vs my friends khorne-ish chaos space marines....spehss marines were wiped out, I lost an infantry squad, heavy weapons squad, half of a veteran squad and various casualties throughout the rest of my infantry. Surprisingly my chimera (the only vehicle being used by me for this game) went without having a single shot fired at it while it mowed down his CSM squads. I misplaced my "Warhammer Armies: GWAR" notebook, though, so i will not finish posting the book today like i was hoping

I wish I had a baneblade.....  Anyhow-itzer (you see what i did there?) I have been studying the job requirements for the U.S. Armed Forces and have found out that being colorblind means you get no cool/interesting jobs in the Army (cept Infantry, but you cant really make a career out of chilling at an Army base in who knows where), Airforce, Marine Corps or Navy. So, I have decided I want to Immigrate to Canada after High School and Electrician apprenticeship. I went to the immigration site and answered a quiz, keeping in mind where I'm gonna be in 4 years and I got this.... Turned out way beter than expected. Attachments:
