I see. How fun. A dozy cat. When I was a juve we had a cat - Lucy; one of those long-haired tabbies. She was naturally dopey as a kitten and I remember her walking into a white panel on the side of the washing machine, as she couldn't see it, she was too small.

Excellent! Your scheme is almost the same as my 2006 chem trooper army - the Ektos 'Slaught Lancers.

I'm guessing this is general discussion. I haven't done much lately. Just waiting for my copy of dread fleet. Watched some 'space marine' walkthroughs and it looks really awesome. At first it looked meh gameplay-wise but the more it progressed the more awesome it looked. Other than that i just want to get my super death star unit for fantasy that'll cost 180 USD more until i can afford it all. Also might get the space marine game first. I'm also doing pretty well in my class so far.

Honestly i would've probably rather bought 'space marine' and some stormvermin. The limited time deal got me however. The package didn't come today far as i know which is disappointing. Maybe it'll come tomorrow.

So much stuff I need to buy, but there's no rush right now, as I have so much to paint and assemble, anyway!

Ok the package didn't come today either for the entire time my roommate was here till 6 pm or so. I'm kind of pissed actually. If it doesn't come tomorrow i'm going to be very pissed instead of kind of pissed. I should've gotten my dreadfleet fix on by now.
Other than that i just gotta read more of my history book. My half nephew wants to read it when my class is over. Also on saturday my warhammer friend is going to take me home from school and i'll pay him a bit and we can play some warhammer hopefully.
I worked a bit today and also played some battlefield 3 at my half nephew's friend's house. It's a good game and the graphics are pretty sweet. Also got to talk to FFE today and she was somewhat drunk apparently lol.

I know your pain. I ordered a three-way new case for minis and the company said they're getting a new batch of cases, from 10th october onwards.. But the good news is that the new style cases have loads of extra pockets for rulebooks, dice, templates etc, so I'm a happy bunny

Well i should be getting it tomorrow and yes it didn't come today either. Apparently they sent it to my previous address yesterday and it wasn't received (obviously). Luckily it's still in the city as far as i know and they'll send it to the address which i changed today. I talked to a guy on GW's customer service for a while so it should be where i need it tomorrow. At least i hope so.
Other than that just reading today. I also played some battlefield 3 yesterday and watched most of the baseball game where our team lost terribly. The tigers better win the next game against the yankees or i think they're eliminated. Honestly i'm not into sports very much at all but i want the home team to win when my family forces me to watch while they hog the tv.

We need more Warhammer Fantasy topics. Ugh maybe i should get around to making a warhammer fantasy board or a skaven board. I hope to god it would get members though. Skaven are pretty cool guys. I might have to bend over and take it in the ass and make it for a larger group like fantasy or a fantasy and 40k board with a hint of skaven elements. Meh i dunno. I'd prefer to have a skaven or fantasy board though. Skaven seems too specific for everybody to follow but fantasy doesn't have the skaven feel i like. I wouldn't mind having a fantasy forum anyway as plenty of people like fantasy. Skaven would just be too specific though as less people play fantasy. Eh i think i'd still make a skaven board. This is provided i'm not lazy as hell.

Lulz, I was gonna play skaven in fantasy, but I didnt consider playing fantasy until this summer. I rarely even play 40k. You may be asking "Chopper, if you dont even play 40k, why do you admin a Warhammer board". In which I will reply "Shut the fuck up, faggot"
in other news,.. I was there ^

Given your love for bronies I would expect a heavy cavalry list from you, Chopper! Lots of choices of cav heavy armies, but I think elven horses look a lot like my little ponies.....

Some GW asshole staffer (the only employee at GW i've ever hated) once laughed and said i don't play guard when i said i did. Then when we were talking 40k armies he said he didn't want to hear it from a guard player because they're OP or something. They can be OP but the way i use them in 10 man squads and smaller with loads of kill points everywhere is actually a detriment to kill points. However in other games it should rock faces. Only problems i have is i don't have enough money to get the meltaguns for my kasrkin to go tank hunting after deepstrike, i need banewolves, executioners would be needed vs storm shield termies, etc. Plus i kind of stopped doing my guard army possibly for forever though i hope not. I was planning to do dark eldar next which is good because that's what this board is for . cheminhaler: Really i always thought bretonnia would work best for him. High elf cavalry suck i hear and i think they are their crappiest units actually.

Such baloney! I've been wiped of the board by SWolves, using guard. It depends on the list/dice/terrain - he's just a tool/ fool/ muppet. Edit - although back in the day Silver Helms rocked. the old ones were brilliant models - all metal, skinny metal horse, plastic lance/ hand. Wish i hadn't traded them at school

I live on a farm/have read books about cavalry and will honestly tell you that normal horses are extremely worthless and stupid (cause they dont know the power of friendship) unless you live in a 3rd world country. The only "Cavalry" I do like is the mechanized kind in which I hope to be joining up with after high school

In fantasy there's nothing better than getting a cav charge in. The only fantasy game I've played in my adulthood is one with my newish plastic orcs VS a GW staffer's lizardmen and I actually won because the boars on my orc boar boyz were really hard. The riders did nothing, but the boars beat this regiment of temple lizards (the extra goldy ones) hands down and made them run...
Go, wild pigs!

I'd actually have to say the most fearsome cavalry would be either blood knights (boosted by magic and items), chaos knights or the new ogre mournfang cavalry that does d3 impact hits and both the ogres and cavalry's multiple attacks not counting all the weapons and crap they can be upgraded with to be super hard and killy. If blood knight got the helm of commandment used on them (WS of user so most likely 6, 7 or even 10 if you give a lord fencer's blades), had the +4 ward save banner vs ranged attacks or regen banner with a vampire on nightmare wielding it and had the vanhel's danse macabre spells go off to allow them to 'always strikes first' and re-roll to hit. Oh damn that'd pretty much be game. They have like 3 str 7 attacks per each knight and each horse attacking as well. Sure they'll hit on 3's but with re-rolls it'll make up for it. Then with +2 armor and a +4 regen they are not going to die in melee easily. Still i'd probably throw censer bearers at them because it's still toughness test or die and hits automatically. This all counts on a lot though as you'd need to get the spell off and be within 12" of the helm of commandment. Then you'd need to make the charge and everything else. Well they do have swiftstride so making the charge with 8+3d6 (take 2 highest dice) is actually pretty likely. This is just an idea of what they could do if you somehow managed all these boosts. It's not likely to get it all off but you can still get it there. Of course all cavalry still get owned if charged by big or powerful units and it'd turn one unit into a death star with the others suffering for it possibly. Could still be cool though.
I also hear cold one cavalry like with saurus cavalry are pretty beastly though. I once got my rat ogres and leader to reduce them to one guy and somehow they made their morale check. Then the one guy either overran me next fight or got me to run away. I think my guys ran away but i was still pissed. Usually i can handle saurus cavalry pretty well but i hear a unit of 20 is hard to get rid of. Still should've been easy even with the cold-blooded rule.

Well with the current 8th edition rulebook and also the new ogres army book they are much more powerful than they used to be. I beat 8th edition rulebook ogres but not the 8th edition army book ogres. I'll have to see. Those mournfang cavalry and new monsters look pretty nasty. Still don't get the super horniness 8th edition seems to have for monsters. Those mournfang cavalry somewhat worry me though. Then again 3 ranks of 6 ogres per rank for the monstrous infantry bonus is annoying enough as it is. I'll have to see how they new ogres are. I'm interested to find out actually. I want to kill them. Those mournfangs seem nasty enough but they cost so many points i hear.

Hi, Chopper. Take screenshots!
The mournfang cav look mad; but they're really expensive - can't see myself getting a big regiment of that anytime soon. Plus I need so much guard stuff before that....
