So i'll be getting mine in a few days. It's warhammer fantasy ship battles in case you didn't know. I hope it's good. Better not suck for the price i paid.
If you hadn't heard RT banned me for a month from the IGMB so i'm going to hang out here for a while. I figure most of you guys are cooler anyway.

Walrus: RT should be castrated. That's all i can really say. It'd get him to lay off banning members when he's in an emo bitch mood which is often. I literally only repeated what somebody else said and got in trouble for it. Several other people even saw it and got the proof for me. Whatever i'm not in the mood to go there right now anyway. So how are all of you doing? I can't wait to get my copy of dreadfleet in 2 days. I may also get a game of fantasy in sooner. I can only hope.

I must say if you don't have it yet, consider leaving it shrink-wrapped and keep the receipt, then sell it in 2 years time. Hide it carefully so it doesn't get damaged by pets, evil siblings, rats, jokaero, tyranid incursions, thieves, ork freebooterz and leaking ceilings or radiators.. And sunlight. In fact keep it in a time-stasis capsule... Edit - that means no playing with it either...

I don't have it yet. Apparently it was sent to my previous address yesterday but i thought i changed the address where it was going to when i purchased it in the store. I ended up calling the gamesworkshop customer service and it should be going to the right address now. I hope anyway. It should be here tomorrow but some other shit might be going on so i'll have to see.

Sorry for double posting but i just got my copy of dreadfleet and opened it. I still have to read my history book so there's some things i gotta do first. Still gotta assemble this thing too. I think painting it might be put on the back burner for a long while though.

i noticed some interesting rock formations/seaborne objects on the GW website...do they actually come with the set or is GW pulling something similar to "Totally epic fort we put in display picture but you don't actually get it, cause we dont feel like making a sprue for it"

It's in there. They have an island castle with a bunch of rocks as well. It's got a bunch of plastic sets. So far i've got the dreadfleet set up and still need to make the grand alliance and all the sunken ships and islands and crap. It should come with everything they showed. For 115 USD they'd better have all the shit they showed . Funny thing is how much harder to put together the bloody reaver was from the rest of the ships. It was harder by far to put together than the rest of the ships and had so many parts to it. The other 4 ships came on one plastic sprue. The bloody reaver was on another one with the heldenhammer and possibly the elf ship. However the ship is so big they had to put all the sails on a seperate sprue with a bunch of the other sails of the grand alliance ships. I'm pretty sure it was the only dreadfleet sails on that sprue and it was for the bloody reaver. I guess it makes sense a flagship would be the hardest to put together but i dunno. I also checked the statline for the bloody reaver. Jesus it has a bad ass statline compared to the other ships. I haven't read much of the book so i don't really know the rules but damn that statline is beast. The heldenhammer would probably do better with the special hammer attack and the broadside but other than that it totally bitch slaps the heldenhammer's profile statline. If i wasn't doing stuff with a friend today and had school and stuff to do with a friend saturday i'd probably have it set up by the end of today. I also have a lot of reading to do for history class so there's that too. It kind of sucks because i kind of wanted it set up on saturday but that doesn't look like it's going to be happening. I wanted it ready so that when my GW playing friend comes over saturday we'd have everything set up so we could have a game. Also having it set up by tonight means i could have a game with both my roommate and him.

Don't glue them together. You have to paint some of it seperately - I've just been reading the WD and that skaven ship - the one that looks like a dead shark - you have to paint the innards underneath and the top bit before you glue them together...

cheminhaler: Oops. Oh well i didn't feel like painting them for a while anyway and i could always rip some of them apart if i need to. Anyway i have 2 ships left and i've been slacking off getting them together. Some parts feel like they need to be glued or else they'll just come apart. Luckily the glue isn't so strong that i can't just rip some apart later. Anyway it should be done in a day or two.

Yeah i know and the answer is no. It's sad i know but maybe we'll play it when my roommate gets back from his parents' house. I should really check up on the rules. It's not like i have anything better to do in recent times. I mean i'm bored anyway.
