The exalted vermin lord used to make me horny (he has horns too lol). This was before i came up with my 2 units of core with 1800 pts of death that needs a 3k game to support it. Uploaded with ImageShack.usExalted vermin lord is still a bad ass though. He knows 13 spells (all of the skaven spells) and is just an all around bad ass. He could kill monsters and pretty much anything. The normal vermin lord is pretty meh but this guy is just awesome.

I won't lie. That looks pretty damned sexy. We already have multiple other artillery pieces but eh why not. May need more scout vehicles other than the sentinels though. Are there any?

The Crassus is also a great model, and a super heavy transport.
I was surprised to find out that my FW mars pattern baneblade is now a discontinued item.
Basically it was more than twice as expensive as the new Baneblades, less cathedral and more sci-fi looking, a real pain in the butt to assemble, plus I'm going to have to spray it hard again with black spray.... And i bought it before the new kit came out.
I have plans for a 3rd baneblade - the command tank Vesuvius Hetlan, with my colonel in it.
It was actually disappointing to see the old kit gone from the fw site, and I was considering the 3rd bbl in resin; maybe the Lucius pattern, but no luck. Too hard to trace them (or the old armorcast ones) on ebay, either....

You have to admit the chaos dwarfs look pretty sexy even if their stats aren't quite as good as warriors of chaos though they have smaller bases so you can have more of them in a small area. That gun that doubles over as a halberd is pretty sweet. Too bad with dwarf initiative you may as well just have it double as a great weapon. It'd kill a lot more stuff. I suppose they can at least go at the same time as orcs and they might be faster than lizardmen.

Sorry for the double post but i'd say between the 2 groups of imperial guard i like it's either vostroyans or elysians. Although elysians don't fight the way i tend to as they're frequently fast and hard hitting airborne assault guys. So yeah totally not my style. So i think vostroyans would be the ones i play. Here's a list of elysian drop troops options though. www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Imperial_Guard/Elysian_Drop_Troops?filter_reset=1

I used to have a squad of elysians that I traded with someone on the igmb for plastic cadians. The elysian models are ideal; small bodies, petit lasguns and equipment. Much smaller than cadians.

Vostroyans would be a lot of fun. Too bad once they all get put in finecast they'll be even more expensive. You'd think they'd just put them in plastic or something. Well maybe going into finecast will make people aware of them again and start getting more of them. Hell i dunno. If i had enough money i might start getting some vostroyans to add as a detachment to my cadians. Maybe have a cadian/vostroyan regiment. Although unlike most guard units vostroyans actually do take in new recruits which is odd when you think about it. How would they get over that issue together?
