And so it should be.
No work on your DE whilst you're revising?

Bleh, that was horrible... I fail really hard at writing essays...

Well you've either got it or not. That doesn't mean you can't improve.
Usually it's a set formula. Intro--> a few paragraphs of your argument with a bit of evidence or historical dates and whatnot to bac it up ----> conclusion

Yea, something like that... I spacked out and wrote 'PLANNING IS OVERRATED' across my failed plan, then went on to write a rant on the bible, which was completely off topic...

Planning is overrated. Sometimes you just have to do stuff, like throw a monkey wrench into someone else's plan or cause a little chaos...

But it's just a bad move to give up; better to give it a shot and see if you can at least get an average score, instead of failing. Unless all the questions really stank..

My god what is this? an actual update? with pictures? I do believe so ;D After spending a solid few hours painting, I give you a brand new Syrabite I am rather proud of the skin, it actually looks real as opposed to the dodgy job I did on me first skin attempt...

The sybarite is looking very smooth next to the other model.

Just keep up with thinning the paints. The results are great.

Gasp, another update... this one has pictures too! ;D Check this out... Much better in comparison to the original skin attempt... I got a better close up of the syrabite as well, and I really can't be bothered going back and editing, so he goes with this bunch. better comparison than the one shown before (I think) Last picture for now, pair of syrabites... I have comparisons between my first squad and their counterparts in the one I am working on now, if you want them. Bleh, I just noticed the blu-tack I was using to hold the new syrabite came loose... oh well, it gets the point across, no?

Oh that's real eye candy. Very detailed work; I can even see the teeth on the helmetless one.
So do you normally paint the head seperately or was this just a trial run?

I generally do a production line setup. Match all the legs to the butt plate with the knife, and paint that. Then do the same with the torsoes (woah, what?). Then do the heads separately, and the weapons... Making sure they stay with their matching arm.
Currently, I have all the legs done. It's only about an hours work to finish the squad, but I'm much to lazy to do it, so I paint what I feel like painting.

That's quite weird for me _ I cant do it unless everything is assembled. Although recently I've started painting some things seperately .. e.g sentinel drivers before they get glued in to the cockpit, or marines boltguns seperately.
It's good that you do this, as you won't miss any detail at all.

That is the main reason I do it.. Otherwise I miss parts and it irritates the crap out of me
