I've noticed on Chem's thread that people seem interested in seeing what I've done with his old Dark Eldar (don't worry, they're safe and sound). Additionally, I've completed my first squad of Wyches and Archon (both are the new kits), so I felt it was time that I posted my own image gallery so all can see and stand amazed at my lack of painting and photography skills. So, without further ado:
Firstly, my Wyches. They are known as the Widowmakers (because that's what they do). One of the more prominent teams in the Cult of Anguish (and one of three to have an Archite in the Cult's Triad), their primary rivals are the Bloodletters, another prominent team in the Cult of Anguish whose Archite was recently deposed from the Triad.
Next, the Kabalites. The Jackal's raids are usually performed primarily by these proud warriors, mounted on Raiders and Venoms. The Splinter Cannons and Blasters are their favored heavy and special weapons, respectively.
Finally, the Jackal himself (or at least one of his many body doubles and favored courtesans), personally leading realspace raids from the deck of an audacious Raider. Usually accompanied by Wyches or Incubi, the Jackal has an uncommon thirst for blood, preferring to drain away the lives of his victims himself and watch their horrified expressions as they contemplate their own mortality.
And now, for your entertainment, the Jackal and a hand-picked entourage massacre a pitiful T'au command post.
Not even their mighty battlesuits can withstand the unrelenting onslaught the Wyches bring to the raids. Hydra Gauntlets, the weapon of choice in the Cult of Anguish, slice away at vulnerable components of the suits, permitting their wielders access to their fleshy pilots.
Smile! You're on SlaughterCamâ„¢!
Look at how the T'au wilt away at the hands of even the least of our Warriors! Truly, they are most fit as but prey.
Although pitiful, the T'au are not to be underestimated, and can be dangerous if not swiftly dominated and made to submit. Even with victory in his grasp, the Jackal takes no chances with the fleshlings, and has positioned a squad of Kabalites on the high ground from which to suppress the Jackal's victims.
