Okay, since we all know that I'll nominate Goodwin, I'll go a step farther and say that my favorite model done by him (or, to be more precise, set of models) are the plastic Wyches, although the rest of the range is fantastic as well.

But did you like the old DE plastic warriors? Weren't they sculpted by Gary Morley, or something?

Yeah, I do like them, but they just don't compare to any of the new models. The old Warriors were one of the three best models, in my opinion, of the old range (the others are the Raider and Reaver Jetbikes).

I'm surprised Brian Nelson and the Perry twins have had no mention yet. Anyway I love the Cadian and Catachan command squads, which were by the Perrys. Nelson sculpted many of my fave kits - the fantasy giant, cadian plastics, orks..

Ahh, the perrys deserve some merit... I can barely remember any sculptors anymore....

Mark Copplestone is pretty famous in terms of historical miniatures. His ranges for 'Darkest Africa' for Wargames Foundry are pretty awesome. Everything from European explorers to native tribesmen in the 1850s-1900s.. www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/This is his own website. I know a shop which sells some of his minis. In fact I need a couple of packs of his 'Hunter Aliens with guns', in the Future Wars section. www.perry-miniatures.com/index2.htmlPerry twins also have their own company. They make their own plastic historical kits : reasonable prices too... www.victorialamb.com/store.htmlVictoria Lamb is awesome. Check her highland guard add-on kits.
